I tried to do five must-have beauty items -- but my ride or die list is really ten. These are non-negotiable for making me feel my best. I used to only be a lipgloss and some mascara if I was being fancy -- but as I've gotten older and watched so many amazing tutorials -- I've stepped into makeup land more. It's fun.
1. Best Eyebrow Powder - Anastasia Beverly Hills - Brow Powder Duo
I use the taupe and really only the lighter of the side (it looks much darker on me). It comes in lots of color combinations so you can find the perfect shade for you.
2. Best Eyebrow Gel - Anatasia Beverly Hills - Clear Brow Gel
This product is a game changer. It keeps the powder in place all day and because it's clear, it's easier to put on and locked down the color you've already added.
3. Best Tinted Moisturizer with SPF - Revision Skincare Intellishade Original
I LOVE this product. It goes on easily (I use the beauty blender), it has great coverage with built in SPF 45. And I don't break out from it.
4. Best Mascara - Bobbi Brown Smudge Proof Waterproof Mascara
If you've been here a while, you know I've tried so many others. I keep coming back to this classic. It gives me that pop of pigment and it doesn't smudge or burn my eyes.
5. Best Lip Gloss - Merit is my new favorite. I was a hardcore Dior lip oil person but now I'm enjoying the Merit. I wear the color Jeté.
6. Best Buildable Foundation Powder - Laura Geller New York Baked Balance-N-Glow Illuminating Foundation (Light)
This product went viral for a reason. It's amazingly good. it goes on and give that finished look without looking heavy. I use it over my Intellishade to lock in the coverage. Comes in many colors. I'm really fair so I needed the Light. I can use the Fair when I want to use it as a bronzer.
7. Best Blush - Merit for the win. Their blush is so creamy -- it goes on so easily and gives you a glow.
8. Best Beauty Blenders - Super Soft PAW PAW wonder blender
I love this six pack of 6 beauty blenders. They work very well when I'm applying the Intellishade. A really good value too - Just $9.95 for the pack.
9. Best Eyebrow Brush - Sephora No. 20
You need this to put the Brow Duo on and it's a good one. They've added a spool at the other end in this update of this Sephora basic.
